View Full Version : How many stars per spectral class?

2018-Jul-28, 05:19 PM
A simple question (but one to which I didn't find an answer in several astronomy books): how are the stars distributed per spectral class? I. e. which percentages of stars are O stars, B stars, ... , K stars, M stars?
Anyone can help me to answer. thanks!
