Why aren't the scales labeled so we can see what the temperatures are?

Why aren't the scales labeled so we can see what the temperatures are?
They're probably coded the same as the key that's on their daily temperatures page (http://tes.asu.edu/daily.html).

-125 C (dark violet) to 15C (red)

Thanks much--I'd wondered about the "missing" temperature scale myself.

They're not always the same as indicated here:

Really it's a simple thing to include the legend at the bottom of the image.
