...in California...in April!

It's actually covering the ground, and I'm so excited! (it's only the 2nd time it's snowed here this "season". :)

If it keeps up, I'll post a picture a bit later...

funny how location can change one's perspective. If it were snowing here right now, I'd be crying like a baby. :)

Oh come on Wally, you're due for that April snowstorm! (I know, I grew up in Lansing....) But just because "it could happen" of course you wouldn't have to be happy about it!

I would not have minded a couple weeks ago when it was still cold enough to stick so we could get one last ski adventure in, but now that it is 70 and sunny, I'd cry too if it snowed.

I hear ya pumkin! I think we average 4 inches of snow in April, but that's usually after we've at least had a taste or 2 of Spring-like weather in March. This year, March sucked something fierce. So, now that we're actually getting sunshine and temps in the 60's, we're all a bit more feverish than normal, I think. . .

A throwback to Winter at this point would probably cause mass suicide!

It snowed here this morning but it's gone now.

Our spring seems to be slowly surfacing, with temperatures in the 50s nearly every day now. Hooray!

Wow..that's awesome!

Now if it started to snow in Orange County, that would be a miracle. I wonder if it's ever happened in the last 100 years...

That looks like quite of bit of snow, RAF. Yesterday it was 75 here and today it's snowing.

I forbid it to snow here! I just chipped my daffodils out of the ice yesterday (they're almost 2" high) and I'd prefer not to do it again.

Yeah...at least an inch, inch and a half. But all good things must come to an end...within the last half hour it's completely stopped...darn. :)

I feel your pain. I also have a couple of very surprised rose bushes...they thought it was spring. :)

Frozen rain, here; little balls of ice which are effectively frozen raindrops, as opposed to fluffy snowflakes;
but not made of concentric shells of ice like hail.

Meanwhile here in Brazil we've been having a heat wave, temperetures rose to at least 37C, even though summer is already over!

I've never seen snow falling neither touched snow in my life.

That's nothing. It's been snowing since this morning and 30+ mph winds all day. I'm not sure how much snow we have, but drifts that are several feet high in places. It's supposed to snow until tomorrow morning with snowfall totals of ~2 feet. Hopefully we'll have a snow day tomorrow. =D> =D>
