I uploaded a page on economics (http://www.geocities.com/freedomforfission/cyc/economics.html) to the FreedomForFission website. I don't think I argued the case particularly well. Any comment on how to improve it are welcome.

A discussion of alternative energy sources can be found here (http://www.geocities.com/freedomforfission/cyc/alternatives.html).

Still doesn't work for me. :-?

In the page, Glom, you say that Italy became a (hypocritical) nuclear-free country. Is that accurate? I think Italy has commercial nuclear plants.

Italy is a hypocritical nuclear-free country.
Local administrations pride themselves of being "de-nuclearized", experimental reactors are
shut down and the waste kept in temporary sites.
In the meantime we buy electric energy from nuclear plants in France and in Slovenia, if memory serves.
Unfortunately our politicians did not have the balls to go against the popular opinion, dominated by FUB against nuclear energy.
