it doesn't show much, but i figured that i might as well post it for the fans of the book.

Sounds like a pretty good cast...

Tom Hanks = Robert Langdon
Audrey Tautou = Sophie
Sir Ian McKellen = Sir Leigh Teabing
Alfred Molina = Bishop Aringarosa

I'm really liking the choice of McKellen for Teabing, not who I pictured, but I think that choice is inspired. Im still up in the aire about Hanks

so here is the trailer: (teaser of course)

Apart from having Hanks rather than Harrison Ford, and Molina rather than Jean Reno, that's pretty much how Dan Brown wrote it. The thing is a 600-page script treatment, not an actual novel, right?

edit - actually, I suppose it's really just Audrey Tatou, then. Thinking about it, I cast the wonderful Richard Griffiths as Teabing when I read it. In all the cases they've gone with my second choices, though.

Is that the name of the character?
How many people do realize that the name is the (literal) Italian translation for red herring?

Ooops, my mistake. Molina always was Le Herring Rouge; Jean Reno was and indeed is the police bloke.

Not sure how well this will do to be honest.

Main people that will see this will be fans of the book and they'll know about the "ending"

Once I knew that I didnt feel like reading it again
