Light stuff, but if you like vehicles and pop culture, this guy is kinda amusing for his picks and pics. I don't know how long it will take to count down since there are only two vehicles so far, but if you click on the links within the text, they bring you to some neat sites and pics (if you're into it), like models and such of Robby the Robot, et al, linked through The Proteus. I think the Batmobile was very cool, so that one's gotta end up way down the list, I'd think.

THE 100 COOLEST POP CULTURE VEHICLES (http://www.retrocrush.com/archive2005/vehicles/index.html)

I looked at the archives; the guy has a thing about robots. (http://www.retrocrush.com/archive2/robots/)

I also agreed with a lot of his The 100 Most Annoying Things About 2004 (http://www.retrocrush.com/archive2005/annoying2005/), such as #32, as discussed on BABB, "The Day After Tomorrow," the absolutely worst movie I saw last year. I was laughing even when it was supposed to be serious. 8-[

Note: The language on these links is PG-13...sort of brash, though harmless.

Thanks for the link. The "Retro-Babes" section was quite interesting too. :)

I thought you might say something about that Raquel Welch pic in the Proteus link, but I figured you'd look at the Retro-Babes, too. You're predictable! :D Markie Post? Forgot about her on Night Court. :o

James Bond's Aston Martin from Goldfinger and Lotus from The Spy who Loved Me.

Any of the Thunderbirds (the puppet versions, not the recent film).

Hey, I said "too"! Plus, why muck around with the Proteus when one can go straight to the Raquel Welch page? :D

Let's go DeLorean time machine! And, mayhaps, the Gadgetmobile.

Kaneda's bike (http://www.northarc.com/images/akira/Kaneda-bike.JPG) from Akira is deserving of a spot, IMO.

Kitt will probably get a place as well (from Knight Rider), but I prefer the A-team van...
