View Full Version : Where is the North Pole Now?

Ok guys I have no idea why but I found this site (http://gsc.nrcan.gc.ca/geomag/nmp/daily_mvt_nmp_e.php) to be the coolest thing since sliced bread.
Anyone know if there's a South Pole equivalent? :D

I read an article about Canada losing the North Pole. It said that in about 50 years (at the current rate of position change) it will be in Siberia.

And I doubt that there's a South Pole analogue to this site. No Antarctica government to do the survey. Watch the next post prove me wrong, though.

Nooo! we can't lose the north to the Ruskies! What will Don Cherry say on that day?

And don't say he'll be dead. We all know that man, for better or worse, will never die. #-o

I think he's related to Dick Clark. Or at least was manufactured in the same laboratory. :)

Algorithm to find the North Pole:

Go north, until you can't go any norther.

Where are you going now my love,
Where will you be tomorrow?
Will you bring me happiness,
Will you bring me sorrow?

How to find any place else:

Go to the north pole. Your destination will be directly south of you.

But that doesn't have a pretty picture! :P
