Comet Collision! (http://dsc.discovery.com/schedule/episode.jsp?episode=0&cpi=24194&gid=12996) will be shown on the Discovery Channel Sunday July 31st at 10 p.m. Eastern & Pacific. I learned of the show at the tail end of this week's Planetary Radio with guest Lucy McFadden (http://planetary.org/audio/pr20050718.html) (which, if you haven't heard, you might want to check out -- neat program).

For a few weeks, NASA's had a link to their own page (http://www.nasa.gov/mission_pages/deepimpact/multimedia/DI_disc_channel.html) promoting it. There's even a short clip from the show.

The clip didn't look a lot like what actually was observed. I hope Discovery Channel has time to tune up their CGI animations before the premiere.

Somehow I managed to miss that as well as the mention here (http://deepimpact.jpl.nasa.gov/home/index.html). #-o

You can watch any of them, you just have to worry about projectile vomiting with some of them.

I'll set my pc to record.
