View Full Version : Dennis Tito interview.

Just caught the last couple of minutes of a Fox news interview with Dennis Tito.

Mr. Tito was giving his opinions on the space worthyness of the Shuttle "as if" he were some kind of authority on space travel. He said that if asked tomorrow he wouldn't fly on the Shuttle even if he was paid 20 million dollars.

Does anyone else have a problem with this "tourist" being given a national forum to speak on this subject?

I do...

It's the way much of the media is nowadays R.A.F. Outside of watching something "live," I generally avoid cable/network news outlets like the plague.

Space tourist Tito is clearly no expert and NASA-bashers like Jeff Bell will use whatever they can find while others will use political ammunition

However Shuttle isn't the best method for Space it does have some serious problems, the cost, safety questions and the whole bureaucracy that surroounds NASA shuttle are just a small example of some of its many problems.
