SUMMARY: The International Space Station reached a milestone on Tuesday when it reached 1,000 consecutive days of people living and working on board. The first crew arrived at the station on November 2, 2000, and since then there have been seven crews consisting of 10 Americans and 10 Russians. The current residents, Ed Yu and Yuri Malenchenko commemorated the occasion on NASA TV.
