SUMMARY: I'm trying to understand the performance of my mailing system so I was wondering if a few of you could let me know when your issue of Universe Today arrived in your email system. The newsletter was emailed out on Thursday, September 18 between 1:00pm-3:00pm PDT. In theory, you should have received it during that time frame. But if you're getting it an unusually later amount, could you let me know?

Two additional things you might be interested in.

I received mine about 17:09:23 military time. (central time zone)I think my clock is off though because that would only be about 5:10pm and I was still on my email then, it may only be a few minutes inaccurate.

Mine arrived at 4:50PM, and correcting for time zone differences, it arrived at 2:50PM. But here's tthe real scary part, I read my emails before going to work last night. 11PM CDT, 9PM PDT, I should of seen yesterday (last night), not now. By the way, not now, is 10:45AM CDT 09/19/2003.
This is a good question. Who is to blame? I don't think it's fair to blame my provider, if I request a sign-up process, I get them with in minutes. But I don't want to slap your hand either. You should have asked, before hand, about the change over. We're being quizzed, without any real evidence, about past emais preforances. How are we to evaluate something, if we're not asked before hand?

Nope, I'm looking to place the blame squarely on my provider. What I think it's doing is timestamping the email when I intended to send it, but then not actually sending it out the door until later.

I got mine at like an hour and 19 minutes after you sent it. But considering I'm in the Central zone and you are in Pacific, I actually got only 19 minutes faster you sent it.
