Just wondering if anybody has ordered prints or posters from astrographics.com. If so, I'd like to know whether they are reliable, and if the print quality is good.

Check this out:

You can always order that photo from me Kashi... :-) I've got the deep field in my selection - and it's cheaper.

That's a very good idea. All the pictures of deep field seem to be grainy. Do they come out okay when printed on nice glossy photo paper?

The infrared one is even better.

I wouldn't go with too large a picture. Most of the Hubble gallery pictures look a little grainy at larger resolutions because they're often just zooming into a piece of a larger picture. I can definitely add the infrared version to the gallery, though.

The one I'd like to see is the full mosaic. The tiff file is 27.2 mb.

I wonder if some photoshop treatment could get rid of its grainyness. I might have a go.

I've had a go. Even just a tiny tiny bit of gaussian blur makes a big difference.

Are the images stitched together in the mosaic actually meant to be together?
