Here is some kind of small documentation/tutorial of the work which
i had done with regards to the static gesture recognition module of Intel's
Open Computer Vision Libaray a couple of months ago. Lots of pictures can be seen of the results. I wanted to complete the whole thing and then enter the link
here but i am never finding time anymore :-(. Hope it helps some people

very interesting work, hopefully not sounding too dopey, what applications are you looking at applying this technology to?

Well at the moment mostly entertainment robots. I was working on one robot which was more service oriented probably take care of your house by issueing it commands. It could also be used as intelligent systems in the house. Like switching on ur TV, or switching off lites and such. I am not sure whether this was the rite forum to put this up on :rolleyes: well anyway hope someone in this line comes across this someday
