SUMMARY: The view from the International Space Station is great, but the window is a little small. But a new observation module - or "cupola" - under development by the European Space Agency will change all that. It's an observation and control tower that will give astronauts a panoramic view for observing and guiding operations outside the station. The 1.8 tonne module has been completed in Italy, and now it'll be transported to Cape Canaveral, Florida to launch to the station in 2009.

This is a good idea, but it should have happenned long ago...the Station has been up there for such a long time, it'll get scrapped before it get's finished.

Hard to understand why something like this wasn't there already.
Hey if you are going to stick people in space for months on end, may as well give them a great place to watch stars from.

I think the Euros might be getting ready for manned missions, the EU has a lot of cash but a small space plan
it would be great if they launched people into space like the USA, Russia and China
