has there been any detection of gravity waves, the ripples created in the fabric of space-time that occur every time a star explodes or black holes collide .and if so what do you think the effects would be on earth?if any.

Yes scientist I think can measure Shock waves from a shooting star , but they are too distant and faint to have any effect on life on earth!!!!!!!!

black holes dont affect life on earth on any way, but I think I read that super massive black holes trillions of miles away do have some slight effect on earth's rotational speed around the milky way!!!!!!!

Super massive black holes make the sun look like a tennis ball. hard to imagine I know I cant.
