Hello everyone. Before I continue, I just want to congratulate everyone involved in the launching of Discovery. It's good to be back!

Ok. I just got home from Oshkosh, and I thought I'd share a few pics of our favorite private space ship. They didn't let us get very close, and I only had a disposable camera, but hopefully these can hold you over until someone else can provide some quality shots. Oh, for the record, IT WAS AWESOME!

Here I am in front of my new aircraft. (Is anyone buying that?) Here's a few more shots.

They're not the only ones to feel jealous!!!! How I would have liked to be there & UP SO CLOSE!!! WOW!!!!!

I put a few photos of SpaceShipOne on my web page - under Space craft - but none are so up close as the ones you took, tiderider!

Thamks for posting them here & sharing them with us all at UT!! :D

my pictures are closer (not yet scanned in)

minolta x-370, 200mm zoom lens, distances from 20ft to 4 ft, depending on what details i was looking for.

not really awe inspiring pictures, but more of a technical nature.

I love the one I got where my hand is point to some of the screws on an access panel on white knights underside.
