According to this BBC website news story (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/4139188.stm) for the paltry sum of US$100million you too can go do a quick orbit or two of the Moon. The plan would be to launch in a Soyuz capsule, dock with a booster launched separately, and then fly in your tiny tin can of a capsule around the Moon and back to Earth. They estimate that anywhere from 500 to 1,000 people in the world can afford the trip.

This would be big. It would mark the first time a non-American (a Russian, specifically) leaves Earth orbit.

nakes me wonder how much it really costs, if they can charge 100 mil for a ticket.

bet Rutan offers to do it for less. that is if he gives up on the suborbital tourist things and lets someone else handle it
