I have just been alerted that the February issue of Scientific American has an article about the Moon hoax. You can read it online (http://www.sciam.com/article.cfm?articleID=0007467E-C454-1E1C-8B3B809EC588EEDF&catID=2). It mentions this site, and Bart Sibrel... sort of. It erroneously says he created the Fox show, though.

Bart Sibrel has all but taken credit for the Fox program.

I see the article includes a picture of a Lunar Module Descent Stage, and footprints leading from it to the location of the person making the picture! /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_eek.gif

How'd they do that?

Quote from article: "Mr. X (as I will call him, thereby denying him the joyous sight of his name in print). . . ."

Yes, a very wise thing to do!

I love the ending, too: "Or NASA could just by Aldrin a nice plaque commemorating his most recent moon shot, in which his fist slipped the surly bonds of decorum and touched the face of Mr. X."

Simply wonderful.

Uh-oh, Mr. X (http://www.badastronomy.com/phpBB/bb_profile.php?mode=view&user=22), they're taking your name in vain here.

Firefox, did Sci Am fix the typo (by/buy)? If not, I want to alert you to the joys of cut-and-paste. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_smile.gif

No! No! No! Those are the footprints leading from the camera to the LM. He set up the camera with a timer and the camera took the picture after they took off. /phpBB/images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif

Should we invent the illustrator to this discussion?
