Thanks

One simple Question...Can I upload a Word Document when clicking on either, "insert image" or "manage attachments"?The Manage Attachments dialog says:

Valid file extensions: bmp gif jpe jpeg jpg png so "doc" doesn't fit.

I doubt "Insert Image" will insert something that isn't an image.

How about just linking to the document somewhere on the web?

We limited uploading files to images since it is much easier to lace other document types with viruses. Also there is very little reason for other file types to be on this forum.

Perhaps adding PDF?

I am having a problem using Image Shack thumbnails.

If I use the thumbnail, I have to clean up the initial code, leaving a thumbnail which can not link to the larger image.

The "Forum" links don't seem to work. However, their "direct link" does work but the image is too large.

How do I use Image Shack properly?

Alright here is my try at image shack:

Ok so go to image shack (http://www.imageshack.us/). Upload your image. On these forums you need to use the "Thumbnail for forums (1)" (for the thumbnail) or the "Hotlink for forums (2)" (for the full size image). The number (2)s do not have the end image tage [/IMG]. This is what is causing your problems I think.

Thanks, Matthew.

Let me try an APOD...

I think I understand what happened. The full page is very slow for me, for some reason. It loads adverisment before the full size image is displayed. I guess my impatience got the best of me, as I had not seen this before, so I kept canceling and trying other approaches.

Thanks again.
