View Full Version : Crashing IE

Over the last (roughly) ten hours, Internet Explorer has crashed
at least half a dozen times, just after a BAUT page has started
to download. Restarting the computer and deleting the swap
file twice didn't clear the problem, so I wonder if some
advertisement has something funny in it.

 I would definetely recommend you to upgrade IE or install Firefox. That would probably deal with it.

It is probably related to JavaScript (which is used by the ads and all over the place). If it is only some pages, than it is likely ad related. Deleting the swap file will not fix it, though ;)

IE 5.00?

I would say an upgrade to 6, or has been suggested by Robert Andersson, firefox. I'm suprised that version 5 of IE even works any more.

I used to have the same problem over at the starwars BB. Some ads would just cause havoc and crash my brower. Damn computers.
