Hey guys! Just wanted to say how great it is to come back and see that two of my favorite websites have combined forces like this. Most probably won't remember me, although I see my resources thread is still in use in the Q&A forum.

I've been in Iraq for most of the past year, and it's really refreshing to come back and see so many people taking an interest in science and astronomy. Makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

Anyway, that's it. Just wanted to say how thrilled I am to be back, and how awesome it is to see the progress you guys have been making. Keep on truckin'!

Speaking of IRAQ, have you listened to "I.R.A.Q." by Tom Smith? It's basically an anti-war (sorta) song sung to the tune of YMCA. Even if you don't agree with it's message, it's still funny to listen to.

Other than that, belated welcome back by a guy that's never met you!

I just listened to it, it was mildly humorous. Don't have any pro/anti war feelings one way or the other though, just do my job and leave the arguments to people who like to argue.

Yeah, mildly humorous is a good way to put it. Tom Smith makes a lot of mildly humorous songs. "Cthulhu Lite FM" is one of the best.
