in the new Family Guy that was on tonight, Peter is told by the doctor that he is fat. he doesn't believe him, so Brian (the dog) proves it to him by making several small objects- including a tv with The Three Stooges showing on it- orbit around Peter's MASSIVE midsection as he stands in the living room..
i thought it was clever and funny...

But how would the objects not be effected by normal gravity? Even if he has his own gravitational field the objects would still fall due to earthís gravity but curve because of Peterís gravity.

because Brian explains WHY the objects orbit around a more massive object.
i guess if you didn't see it, you won't see the humor in it or the educational value of it- no matter how slight it may be.

Oh, I thought it was funny, but when I watched it, I thought "When did Peter eat neutronium? And why isn't he collapsing?" It was BA, but funny BA.
