It seems that even doctors need to take a break, and when they do, they need someone to cover for them.

And how do you 'cover' an absent doctor.

Easy...

...just follow this simple nine-point guide (http://drcharles.blogspot.com/2005/12/how-to-stand-in-for-doctor.html) and you'll be diagnosing(sic) just like a real doctor.

What's even funnier for me, is that I actually had a " Todd" removed. Well, it was something irritating that I nicknamed "Todd".

Finally, justification for sticking a blood pressure cuff around the neck. I've always wanted to do that.

I tried to amuse my wife with it - but darnit, it made the rounds of the service last week.

I remember hearing on Dr. Dean Edell how certain doctors were trained to say 'there!" instead of "oops."

Strange, I don't think I've ever heard a doctor say "oops" or "there". My doctors are always freaked out by me. I'm very in tune with my body, and I will tell them exactly what I think they should do. I know, they hate me. :)
