Not all bad actually, and I did'nt see the whole episode last time it aired. In the opening sequence, right before the credits, they are watching the Orionid Meteor shower. About one every 2 seconds, all mag 3 or better...

Heh, I saw that, I just figgured that since it was in the Navada desert you could see "shooting stars" better :D

Hey, the BA could do a cameo on CSI Las Vegas, like Tony Hawk (http://skateboarddirectory.com/articles/488479_will_tony_hawk_skateboard_on.html) did on CSI Miami.
Of course, Tony Hawk was a corpse most of the time. :shifty:

Some would argue not much has changed. The man doesn't exactly exude charisma.

Shouldn't it have also been emanating from the constellation, though? The meteors I saw all had ~parallel paths through Orion, IIRC.

(I also learned not to make a stink about these things in front of my father. :D)

it's also kindda funny cuz the guy whille watching it says "Orionid meteror shower, you can't see it like this in the city."

Apperently you can't see it like that anywhere in the world. :D

Page Two (http://www.cbs.com/primetime/csi/episodes/604/2.shtml)

Meanwhile, Grissom has found the "planetarium," a round room with a large comfortable bed, magazine clippings of UFOs, pyramids and extraterrestrial phenomenon straight out of "Chariots Of The Gods." A spherical object in the center of the room lights up and creates the effect of a meteor shower on the painted ceiling, one emerging from a single point (radiant) near the constellation of Orion. It looks like the groups' mythology is similar to the Heaven's Gate Cult who committed mass suicide in the belief that they could hitch a ride to heaven on the Hale-Bopp comet. The eleven victims timed their suicide to coincide with the Orionid meteor shower last night. So time of death is 3:15 am.
I thought the spherical object was so cool. I'm a sucker for pretty, though.
