I take some responsibility for this...after all, I'm the one who keeps Mom up and running on the web so she can email these...things...out to her unsuspecting children...

Wonderful stuff, Charlie. Although it looks alarmingly like some of my own papers...

I can't wait for the newsreels to summarize this in one of those "SCIENCE MARCHES ON" reels.

Can one of our Aussie denizens tell me what an "MSCL" is?

Seems plausible, considering she's an official flunky research assistant.

It's been two long decades since that fellow was bending 'em with his mind on THAT'S INCREDIBLE, but I'm glad to see the teaspoon return to it's rightful place at the cutting edge of scientific inquiry. ;)

What I need to know is what university I should direct my missing sock report to? Surely some group is dilligently investigating that phenomenon.

I failed to do a proper foot-count at the end of the last laundry cycle and one obviously pulled a "Frank Morris". I'm tired of running a home for orphaned hosiery!

I don't have anything to say about this, but I just noticed your location is "Yorkshire Consulate, Seattle." Does the Yorkshire Consulate generously perform consular services on behalf of England, Scotland, Wales, and NI also?

In a pinch. But not for southerners, obviously.

Overall, 94 employees (response rate 67%) responded to the follow-up questionnaire. Thirty six (38%) were male, 57 were female (61%), and one was undecided.

(whats a teaspoonday?)
One teaspoon observed for one day.
20 teaspoons observed for a week would count as 140 teaspoondays.

Candy: I would suggest that the one who is undecided a) didn't mark that question or b) was transsexual; I gather filling out gender questions on such things is a bit complicated. (Yes, I know a transsexual, albeit pre-operational.)

this whole thread is just too funny for words. I wonder if that study was submitted to the Ignoble committee?
