Seems as though this should be in Small Media at Large (http://www.bautforum.com/forumdisplay.php?f=16).

Syntax error: you can't select Serenity. It just isn't there.

Whoops, I overlooked Star Wars :D

btw you've made a small mistake in your explaantion here:

the first one gets 3 points (best)
2nd one gets 2 points
3rd one gets 1 point (least good of your top 3)

Neither is Firefly.
The test is obviously rigged.

I'm give them that, though. Firefly isn't a movie.

Then why list "V"?

Then why list "V"?
V was a mini-series, a four-hour stand-alone presentation. They didn't include V: The Series. (Or V: The Final Battle for that matter).

They also included Taken and From the Earth to the Moon, both of which were mini-series. The latter was something like a dozen hours long, though, wasn't it?

34 - Serenity - 2005 - 3 punten

Forgotten, eh?

I do find it interesting how Star Trek 2 sits in the top15, Star Trek 6 at 48 then the rest pretty much in a row in the 60's. I thought 4 would do much better.

Added: My votes:

1) Forbidden Planet
2) Dune
3) Chronicles of Riddick (Vin Diesel invented this list, therefore abusing people who voted for him will result in the eating of small children. :p)

Pretty boring selection for me

Aliens
Emprire
Wrath of Kahn (or is it Khan, I never get that right)

ST4 isnt sci-fi!

------

Scratch that

Aliens
The Thing
Empire

Its got War of the Robots, but not Star Crash????

I don't have any small children; my daughter's 4'6" or so. I loathe Vin Diesel and all his works.

I guess I voted. I hit the "Verstuur" button. Another button didn't light up saying "Please do not press this button again" so I guess I did good.

Star Wars 1977
Alien
Serenity

2001 better then The Fifth Element, The Thing, Predetor and The Abyss? I disagree.
Vin Diesels stuff better then Men in Black? No way.

Say. What is this? Looks like a Ringworld and I can't read the funny writing.

I voted:

1. 2001
2. Empire Strikes Back
3. Alien

And they came up on the list in exactly that order :)

I'm so conformist :(

Hard to choose but I went with:

Star Wars
Buckaroo Bonzai
Alien

I love Buckaroo Bonzai, silly as it was.
Fifth Element is the next one on my list. There is something fantastic that happens when comedy meets Sci-Fi.

I understand, I wasn't trying to tell anyone what to feel about his movies, just so long as you're not abusing me for liking one or two of them. :D

I'll give you Forbidden Planet, but as cheesey as it was, Galaxy Quest was surprisingly good for a spoof.

The Fifth Element is in my Top 10 of all time. Loved that show. I liked BB also.

"How shall we say, A penny for your thoughts?"

Galaxy Quest was an awesome movie. I agree not better then Forbidden Planet. Pretty close though.
