I tried to subscribe to the BAUT Banned posters log, to make sure I learn of the latest casualties in a timely manner. But it is locked, and it seems it isn't possible to subscribe to a locked thread. Or is there a way around this?

It's like watching a trafiic accident on the side of a road, isn't it?:D

You just have to watch, you can't turn away...I check it everyday to see what silliness is going on

Me, too! I'm sure there's another way of telling--like it doesn't welcome you at the top--but I'm paranoid.

Isn't this kind of like checking the obituaries in the paper every day to see if you're there? ;)

Actually, I am subscribed to the Banned Posters thread. Perhaps I snuck it in before the thread was originally locked or something.
