SUMMARY: After 10 years of vigorous planning and 7 years of flight operations, NASA's Stardust sample return mission successfully landed at the U.S. Air Force Utah Test and Training Range Sunday morning at 1010 GMT (10:10 am PST). The cometary and interstellar dust samples from the capsule will be packed into a special aluminum carrying case to be transferred to the Johnson Space Center, where it will be opened.
