I want to know how delicate these are... Are they easily "breakeable"???? I want to ship one of these to a friend (in exchange for some astro stuff :D) Its one of those cheap standard 1.25" diagonals...

Generally, they are as tough as nails. I'm assuming that you are describing a typical prismatic diagonal, and not a nice front-surface silvered mirror diagonal.

yes.. a typical prism diagonal.. So you are saying that its very unlikely for the prism inside to get chipped due to slight to moderate mishandling...

They are really tough and likely to survive "shipping and handling" really well.

I'd still pack it with good insulation, like foam packing material around it.

Bubble wrap! Not only does it protect very well, it also gives the recipient or their offspring something to play with!!
