In the most recent episode of P&T:** about cryptozoology, they reveal how they made a bigfoot hoax video out of whole cloth, posted it on the internet (http://www.angelfire.com/realm3/marknelson/), and got at least two (unnamed for legal reasons) major internet bigfoot organizations to support it. This is truly in the spirit of James Randi's Great Carlos (http://skepdic.com/carlos.html) stunt in Australia. I rank this as one of the great accomplishments in skepticism. Anybody else see the episode or know about this? Any other thoughts?

I haven't seen it, but there was an interesting program on either the History Channel, or the Discovery Channel on Bigfoot a few years back. They showed the video of Bigfoot to a college proffessor who explained why it couldn't possiblly be a person in a suit. They then cut to a special effects costumer who proceeded to explain why it was a man in a suit. The professor explains how a person couldn't possiblly walk like that, cut to the spfx studio, where a man is practicing the walk, as they build the suit. It went on like that with the goal of recreating the video. It was great.

I think they were correct in most of their lampooning but I think they might have mentioned some recent discovered of larger fauna as examples of real zoology.
