SUMMARY: Three giant storms swirl across the atmosphere of Saturn in this photograph taken by Cassini - the two in the upper part of the photo appear to be interacting. This image was taken by Cassini on April 15 when the spacecraft was approximately 3.9 million kilometers (2.4 million miles) from Saturn.

I seem to recall reading somewhere that "day length" on gas giants varies with latitude. If this is so it would account for the stormy nature of the atmosphere.
Has anyone managed to estimate the wind speeds in these storms?
