I was wondering what the regulars here that understand this stuff (and Phil too, "Mr. Hubble" himself :) ) made of this article (the link is to Yahoo, but it's probably somewhere else as well).

Fuzzy Hubble pics (http://story.news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&ncid=96&e=2&cid=96&u=/space/20030402/sc_space/hubble_pictures_too_crisp__challenging_theories_of _time_and_space)

Basically, the article indicates that the pictures from Hubble of far-away objects should be fuzzier than they are. The fact that they are very clear seems to indicate that something could be wrong with current theories about the Big Bang, etc.

I put it here instead of Against the Mainstream, could go in either I suppose.

Imagine that !!!!

You know what it actually makes me wonder if there is a conspiracy behind it!!! :o

Now that would just be freaky!! :o

Prince brought this up in a totally unrelated thread about the Big Bang and the Bible. It places some interesting constraints on any quantum models of the universe, but right now the results are still very preliminary.
