An M2 flare is producing a big CME today 7/6/2006. Been quite a while since we've seen one.

Spaceweather says there may be aurora from a "glancing blow" to the earth's magnetic field! 7/7 or 7/8.

The ISS gang could get some great photography, but I'm not sure I'd like to be EVA (spacewalking) when the CME gets here.

I hope someone here does some aurora photography. I would love to, but we're under light overcast and it doesn't look good for clarity tonight.
