sarongsong, that is amazing. You said exactly what I had
planned to say when I saw the original post. Word-for-word,
character-for-character, even including the punctuation!

Hee-hee, thanks; my very 1st thought was:
Badder than a-old King Kong
And meaner than a junkyard dog!
Leroy Brown (http://www.superseventies.com/sl_badbadleroybrown.html) but that would have only sparked a slew of "BAUT is so-o bad that..." conjectures http://www.bautforum.com/images/icons/icon10.gif

So bad it is good.

OK, very predictable. Funny though, when I mention the site to some, they are confused until I explain the origins, the book, Hollywood, etc.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is a parody of an Oscar-winning song.
Which was the Theme From Shaft by Isaac Hayes. Which is way better than the winning song at the 78th Academy Awards in 2006 whose title I don't want to mention or link to here. Here's the site if you don't remember this "musical" gem:

BAUT

by Phil (Capt. Io) Plait and Fraser (Moonwalker) Cain

This BAUT Is Ours
Gonna Tell You Right
Just Show Your Face
In Broad Daylight
I'm Telling You
On How I Feel
Gonna Hurt Your Night Vision
Don't Think UFOs Are Real
Come On,

Come On,
Go To And Show Me
All Right...

I'm Giving You
On Count Of Three
To Set Up Your Scope
Or Let It Be...
I'm Telling You
Just Watch The Skies
I Know Your Game
What Your Equation Derives

Well They Say The Sky's The Limit
And To Me That's Really True
But My Friend You Have Seen Nothin'
'Till We Get A Dobson 32!

Because We're BAUT, We're BAUT - Come On
(BAUT BAUT - Really, Really BAUT)
You Know We're BAUT, We're BAUT - You Know It
(BAUT BAUT - Really, Really BAUT)
You Know We're BAUT, We're BAUT - You Know It
(BAUT BAUT - Really, Really BAUT)
And The Whole World Is Our Observing Site
Just To Tell You Once Again,
This Place Is Just Right
Who's BAUT...?
