Here is my re-process of M33 with 180 minutes of added H-a data. The H-a data makes this galaxy look striking I think!

Excellent work. I'm wondering why the galaxy nucleus doesn't show up more as a H-a "emission" region... or is it mainly other transitions going on there?

Awesome Tom!

The H-Alpha really shows the numerous large nebulas in that Galaxy, Just beautiful!

Great Job!

Very nice shot. Congratulations on the APOD posting! Someday I hope to get up there, but I still have a lot of work to do.
My latest image of M33 from the Table Mountain Star Party this summer. I only got 5 frames at about 5 minutes each for this one. Taken with a Canon 10D, through an Orion 80ED piggy back on an LX90, and guided with a Meade DSI.
It was a bad night, lots of drift, problems, and associated cussing and swearing into the darkness. (You astrophotographers know what I mean!).
