Canon Digital Rebel, LX-200 16" ISO 1600, 30 seconds.

The focus isn't perfect, but I'm getting better.

Hey Tony you need to make your self a hartman mask. Im sure you've heard of them. They are very easy to make. Nice photo you got there.

Nice...sort of eerie and ghoulish-looking. (Sorry, I've got the Halloween theme going in my mind. )

Thanks for sharing, and keep up the good work!

Not bad! I guess that is a single shot? You should try taking a series of images and try stacking them. You'd be amazed how much detail you can pull out.

Not bad at all!
I have a friend that uses a DSLR he swears by a knife edge focuser and his Barlowed Laser collimater he has a 8 inch Starmaster Newtonian on a GM8 Mount .
I have a different system so I dont employ either, I have a software driven Focusing screen in live view mode its a DSI PRO I
I did make a Hartman Mask and that does the job much faster.
that is if I ever remember to bring it with me!!
Dennis :)
