A simple question (but one to which I didn't find an answer in several astronomy books): how are the stars distributed per spectral class? I. e. which percentages of stars are O stars, B stars, ... , K stars, M stars?

I found this (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spectral_class). It lists the percentages of each class within the description of the class.

Thanks, that's really helpful!

I already looked at Wikipedia myself briefly, but missed this... I looked for a table, but the information is hidden in the text.
