Is there any evidence to suggest that events that are occurring in our Solar system could be adding to or causing global warming?

None that I know of.

Within it's 11 year cycle the sun doesn't appear to have significantly altered it's output in the time in which we have been able to take accurate measurements and I don't think there is anything else in the solar system that realistically could affect the climate of the earth.

I was reading in one of my RSS feeds that temps on Mars are rising too. Also our planet has a history of warming and cooling. We may just be in one of the warming cycles. In one of the past Solar Maxims they were farming grapes in England, where it's way to cold and wet for grapes. On the other hand, there's been a summer when the Hudson river and New York Bay didn't melt. My advice about global warming.... don't sweat it.... yet.
