Name the good comedies. Not necessarily the funniest or the laugh-out-loudest, merely the ones you thought were good.

Last poll of Round 1.

The cutoff to make the second round stands now at 15 votes. There is a cluster of votes at the top and a larger cluster between 13 and 20 votes.

Hardware Wars is hysterical.

Barbarella (http://membres.lycos.fr/angel/Barbarella/) is funny, outlandish, and has a certain 60s (What was that, Tish? You spoke French!) appeal that will always be vibrant, on this side or the other. It's a fun flick!

Hardware Wars is brilliant. So is Repo Man. I'm surprised to see them bringing up the rear.

The particular poll a movie is in is random, unless it was a late nominee (such as Repo Man and Barbarella).

I can't believe Barbarella only has nine votes!?! I mean really .. who can beat lines like "A good many dramatic situations begin with screaming"
and

Barbarella: De-crucify the angel!
The Great Tyrant: What?
Barbarella: De-crucify him or I'll melt your face!

I can't believe Repo Man only has 9 votes, 'It's Intense' man!

I had to vote for Barbarella, strictly for old time's sake. It has that certain je ne sais quoi, that... utter idiocy, combined with Fonda's wooden acting, that make for a true classic.
