Does anyone want to "take one for the team" and read it? See what you guys think?

Info on the book (http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?userid=2X801309AK&isbn=0743463986&itm=10)

The review of it is very good. It seems to also have several things that the movie does not. Might be fun to pick up and laugth at.

But don't worry: Barnes & Noble Sales Rank: 86,872

So i think me and the reviewer are the only ones to of ever heard of it. :-)

Wow. That's worse than "Star Trek The Next Generation: Planet X"

So, has anybody considered making the book into a movie yet?

He's offering you the chance to take one for the team. Which leads me to quote Butters from South Park:

"Just what kind of team is this, anyway?"

g99, I've been waiting for that rain of fruitpies for months now, so you need to come up with a more believable prize than that.

Hey, I just realized that I've actually read a book called Core by Paul Preuss. Real science fiction (not real good science fiction) about an attempt to drill into the core of the Earth. Does this qualify for the prize, or does it have to be the based-on-the-movie The Core?

Gethen. We will see. Depends on how well you write it up. :-)

O.K., I'm done then. I read it about four years ago and all I remember is struggling to finish it. Boring characters, silly storyline, unsatisfying ending. Wait, that sounds familiar, doesn't it?
