During the course of my life there were several occasions when I might have made an important decision that was different to the one I actually made.

This afternoon, I could spend an hour thinking about one of these turning points. I would then imagine a wholly different life to the one I am now leading.

However, I have decided that I will not spend an hour this afternoon thinking about one of these turning points, thus ruling out the possibility of imagining a wholly different life.

Earlier, I chose a banana from a bunch of them in the kitchen. I'm not keen on bananas, but I had some typing to do, so I favoured a banana over an orange.

What happens on a bank holiday? Do they give out free money or something?

The Bank of England is closed that day, so it is a legal holiday

Oh my I misread this, I thought you wrote "I may or may not consider abusing mike alexander, but then that I might burn my powers".

Sorry for that errand thought.

This morning my wife asked me to bring home toilet paper. She said we are running dangerously low on the stuff. I prefer the single ply as it flushes down easily than doubly ply, but she prefers the comfort of doubly ply. It is one of those things we don't agree on.

This morning I inserted a key in my car's ignition and turned it beyond "On" then the car started breathing in air and mixing it with fuel, then the engine roared. I then contemplated calling in sick at work, but thought "no I need to test Yesterday's code". I then proceeded to drive to work.
