The island of Greenland experienced more days of melting during 2006 on average than in the last 18 years, according to new NASA-funded research.

hmmm, Im still wondering if this is all going to add up to something or if the global warming is just a natural cycle of earth. Im not debating that we aren't partially accountable, but I can't fully believe that humans are the sole reason for all this. Noone can prove the earth isn't going through a naturally warm phase in a cycle.

The volume of ice or snow decreases when melting exceeds accumulation. We could have more days of melting and still have an increase in ice volume if precipitation increased during the same period. Are they measuring precipitation in Greenland?
