Its pretty staggering to think that a little more than 3 Earth's could be lined up across image 1a.

The faculae show up really nicely on figure 2a!

Wow...it just looks like a huge area of flame...and the sunspots look like holes! And think, each of those little areas are probably bigger than the Earth! :o

Heck, each of those tiny little granulations is about the size of California.

I like how they made some of the images gold. To me a blue or green sun has never looked right - sort of cold and dark.
