Those are some cool pics...But for the galaxy/black hole thing...im confused.

One supermassive black hole per galaxy, typically. Fraser's comment is a little hazy about this.

There is a good cover story in a recent New Scientist. The folks doing merger simulations have made excellent progress recently.
