Pick all of the dystopias you found interesting and reasonably well-drawn. The first round is multiple choice.

The entire series is nominated under Mad Max.

Any more love for this list?

'V's got all my love already, sorry. Oh & yes I am the one that voted for Jugger... it must be a Rutger Hauer thang I guess :)

Max and "V" get my vote. Although my sympathies are mostly for the Middle Max: Roadwarrior.

Just curious about Mad Max, are we voting for the first or second film?

I think that answers your question :)

I thought Mad Max was more post-apocalyptic than dystopic...?

I agree but there are quite a few movies on these polls that are post-apocalyptic.

At some point, post-apocalyptic society must settle down. While the second one was probably more p-a than the others, the whole series (including Thunderdome) presents society in a more stable way than might have been right after the apocalypse.

Thunderdome had two post-'poc societies, Bartertown and the kids' valley. Both interesting in their own ways.

Anyway, you could say that some of the first Mad Max film portrayed a pre-apocalyptic, dystopian society....

Maybe it's changed since, but the first release (1979) of Mad Max in the US had dubbed American voices. Apparently Warner Brothers was worried that American audiences wouldn't be able to wrap their ears around an Aussie accent. Made the movie more difficult to follow in my opinion.
