I had a chat friend ask me about two blue lights at the above location. I check a "flashearth" and found it is very remote. Where would I look for more info? This happened about two days ago.

That is close to the location of a Islamic Center in the city of Bijroni, State of Madhya Pradesh, India

It is also reltively close to a Climate Station in the same area.

Google Maps 29.42N, 77.62E (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=29.42N,+77.62E&ie=UTF8&ll=29.420012,77.619996&spn=0.01641,0.032015&t=k&z=15&iwloc=addr&om=1), not that it shows anything but a field amongst fields.

You might want to get some more information from your friend. Did they actually see these lights or is it something they heard about? Were they at that location when they saw them? Were they moving or stationary, what time of day was it, etc. etc.?

And unless you think this is a conspiracy, you might do better in posting this question in Q&A.

I'm seeing (http://www.maplandia.com/india/madhya-pradesh/shivpuri/bijroni/) Bijroni at 24 55' 0" North, 77 38' 0" East -- about 4.5 degrees south of the specified location, roughly 310 miles (~500 km). That's a long walk to see the blue lights.

Edit: Oh, I bet someone transposed digits 29.42N, 77.62E vs. 24.92N, 77.62E

Hmm... not seriously, perhaps Mr Bluelight (http://www.kmart.com/shc/s/nb_10151_10104_NB_Blue?adCell=A3) and his charming wife are on holiday in India?

I have finished the chase. Even old dogs like to bark up trees. "Star News" is a tv station in Dehli. "Star News" is not dedicated to astronomy. http://www.indya.com is a popular station.
The strange blue lights were reported a quickie news byte. NGC means National Geographic Channel. So it goes. Thanks my friends. Trope
