Hi all,

This is an image of Mars that I took this morning with my Takahashi CN-212 and ToUCam with 2x barlow.

Right now it is a little under half the apparent size it will be this December.

Hi Kyle
Thats one fine image of Mars, and I like your choice of telescope, what a nice instrument. Which configuration do you use the most newtonian or cassegrain.

What time of the early morning does Mars appears high enough for you to flim. Nice work and clear skis Paul

Thanks! I mostly use the Cassegrain mode. It is very difficult to collimate in newtonian mode.

There is a tree very close to the east side of my observatory, so it is 6:00 before I am able to image it, but it is high enough much earlier.

A Great shot of the red planet! very sharp and surface details can be seen even with the storms still raging on. Congrats Kyle for a super fine image. Clear Skies
