It explains exactly why the boy survived relatively unscathed, then look who his sister gives credit too.

In consideration of the other members, in case they read the news and are already aware of the story, and would only waste time following the link and to remove some of the mystery:

Teen falls 6 stories, walks away

MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. - A teenager fell six stories from a hotel balcony but walked away with just bruises and scrapes.

Matthew Savage, 17, was reaching up to a balcony one floor above to grab a bathing suit that had fluttered down from the 11th floor when he tumbled over the railing Friday.
[...]
"This was a 'God is real' event," his sister, Mandy Baker, said.

Ok, that's twice now 01101001!

I post links so people can see the actual article. I don't think the 2 secs it takes a page to load is that significant. But I guess others might.

What is the preferred method for this forum? I see others post without links (Especially in the ATM & CS boards) and the first reply is someone explaining how they can't reply without seeing the article/links/proof.

I want to save 01101001 from having to bail me out everytime I post

Thank you.

See the discussion in topic Stop the mystery links, please (http://www.bautforum.com/about-baut/63048-stop-mystery-links-please.html) for how I and some other people feel, and what we might do and/or urge.

Links are fine, and even desirable; they provide additional details if someone is interested. Just please provide some level of commentary in your introduction of the link, ideally enough so we might recognize the material if we've already seen it.

Please don't make the link carry the whole load of your message. If you can provide enough information to make someone feel that chasing the link is just optional, depending on desire for detail, that's wonderful. Excerpting the highlights is kind. Warnings of possible high bandwidth requirements are considerate.

Edit: First case may be: Perfection (http://www.bautforum.com/off-topic-babbling/60482-perfection.html#post1008901)? Hey, don't think I'm picking on you. I do that a lot, when I'm come upon a link with little description: visit it, and then add some commentary for those who will soon be coming along. I've seen others do that, and I apppreciate it when it benefits me.

Thanks 01101001, lots of reasons there I never thought about (which is stupid of me considering some apply directly to myself!). I've been "clarified"!
