Hi everyone,

This morning had decent enough seeing for me to get this image of Neptune with my Takahashi CN-212 in cassegrain mode and SBIG ST-402 camera with Meade 2x barlow.

http://gallery.caasastro.org/v/member/kedwards/neptune/Neptune+8+11+2007+70+2+sec+frames+CN+212+2x+barlow +ST+402+2.jpg.html

Neptune is hard to image because it is so small. It is only 2.3 arcseconds.

Another fine shot of the most distant of the Giants. Nice!

Yes a great shot of Neptune Kyle, glad you posted it.

It may be my imagination but I swear I can see some faint cloud belts on the surface..? :surprised

Hi Kyle.

I really like your outer planet photos, and yes your inner planet photos as well. I can see them with my etx 125 but it would be a waste of time to film them. The same goes for Mars at the moment, its just to far out for a 5 inch to capture any detail. Thanks for posting, your work is great. Clear skies to you Paul

I didn't see any while processing, but that would be awesome if there were some in the image.
