The comic strip Overboard does more astronomy (http://www.ucomics.com/overboard/2003/07/05/) (sort of, anyway)

So sad, so pathetic, so realistic.

The real thing . . . TV . . . the real thing . . . TV . . . .

Given how bad light pollution is here in Tampa, I might as well watch TV than watch the stars in my backyard. It's so bad, I can't even see Polaris! :o So much for showing my daughter how to find North, short of travelling 50+ miles to find darker skies. :(

Not only am I in a light polluted area, but it is nearly always overcast! *Sigh* Maybe it'll be better when I go out East this August. *Thinks about it* :( *SIGH*

That one's great. I think the BA should put it on his main page (with credit to the original of course). More people need to see this one.

As for the message of the strip though, sometimes a good documentary can be worth coming inside for. You can learn how things work "behind the scenes", and increase your appreciation for the universe the next time you go out.

He might not be able to. I believe that altering a few words and reproducing the rest of the cartoon verbatim (words and pictures) goes beyond the Copyright laws' rules for Fair Use and Parody.
